ADHD can be a superpower or a lifelong struggle—for me, it was both.
I grew up in poverty, in a shack with an outhouse, struggling through a world that didn’t understand kids like me. I couldn’t sit still, I failed multiple grades, and I had a mind that raced faster than I could control. School labeled me as a troublemaker and a slow learner, but in reality, I was a kid with undiagnosed ADHD—misunderstood, full of creativity, but constantly fighting to fit into a world built for "normal" people.
As I grew, ADHD shaped my life in unpredictable ways. It led me down a path of over 150 jobs, countless business ideas, and wild adventures—from hitchhiking across Canada to filming drilling rigs from helicopters. It made me a musician, a filmmaker, a writer, and an entrepreneur, but it also brought crippling self-doubt, failed relationships, and battles with depression.
